In large-scale sheet metal fabrication, heavy electrical substations, and industrial enclosure manufacturing, handling oversized or extremely heavy workpieces is always a logistical bottleneck. Moving a 500kg or 1-ton welded structure onto a fixed grinding table requires heavy cranes, multiple operators, and presents immense safety risks. Furthermore, manual grinding of large surfaces is notorious for inconsistent grain quality and high labor costs.
To solve this industry pain point, we have engineered the Heavy-Duty 3-Axis Mobile Grinding & Polishing Integrated Machine. Instead of moving the heavy workpiece to the machine, this revolutionary system allows you to place the workpiece directly on the workshop floor, while our automated 3-axis CNC gantry system moves around it to deliver flawless surface finishing.
For Heavy Workpieces: Simply use a forklift or overhead crane to place the heavy product directly onto the ground. The machine’s automated 3-axis gantry travels dynamically over and around the product, executing precise grinding and polishing sequences with zero heavy lifting required during processing.
For Medium & Flat Components: For lighter sheet metal, large plates, or medium-sized enclosures, the system includes a specialized auxiliary lifting tool. This tool effortlessly elevates and positions flat workpieces to the optimal processing height, maximizing machine utility.
The system features full PLC integration across three axes to handle complex, large-scale surface finishing without manual intervention:
X-Axis (Left-to-Right Precision): The grinding and polishing head moves dynamically across the width of the product, delivering a continuous, unmarred finish.
Y-Axis (Automatic Forward/Backward Travel): The entire gantry system moves along the length of the product automatically, transitioning perfectly between sections.
Z-Axis (Vertical Adaptability): Both the abrasive belt and the polishing wheel assembly move up and down to match the exact height and contours of the workpiece, maintaining consistent tool pressure.
